About Us

Miss T's Love & Learning Academy is ...
Here for your childcare needs. My name is Twonisha Bradley and I am a licensed childcare provider through the State of California. I am licensed for 8 children. Currently, I have 1 child with 7 spots available. I have been in the care industry since 2008. Miss T's Love & Learning Academy is a faith, love and developmental-based family childcare home here to help children of all ages to grow in every aspect of their lives. I offer full-time educational preschool, infant care, as well as homework help and after-school care. My vision is to engulf your children with everything there is to know and learn about the world, as part of the start of their lives. The mission of my family childcare home is to provide a safe, caring, loving and education centered environment, that help to meet the needs of your children developmentally, academically, and spiritually. My goal is to prepare your children for their next level. It is my mission to bring love, knowledge and structure to your children’s lives. Moreover, it is my honor to care for, uplift, and to instill confidence, self-worth and faith into every child.
I have credits through Los Medanos College in early childhood development. I am currently in school working to get my degree in Business Management and taking courses for early childhood development. Throughout the year, I attend many classes through child action and other childcare teaching entities to stay updated on bettering children’s health, development and social skills. I gear towards a more modernize Montessori approach. Children should learn the art of independence at a very early age. I use a HighScope curriculum in my facility. With HighScope we believe, and research proves, that active learning is the key to positive child outcomes and school readiness. ... Play-based, child-centered, and grounded in research, the HighScope Curriculum features active learning at its core. It is a high quality and modernized way for children to start their early childhood education. It helps to teach them to be ready for kindergarten, be more independent, learn at their pace, as well as help each child and their educators. The program helps to bond together the children, their parents and their educators. Helps children to see that they’re able, worthy, capable, strong and can achieve anything they put their minds to do. Children learn to be structured, powerful, self-reliant, respectful, and have an overall healthy development.
I have a heart for children, I love teaching them everything I know and equipping them for success. Education is important to me; it is my hearts desire to be a great role model to the children in my care. I will love of them like they were my very own. In my facility, children will learn the art of self-love, loving others, respect, and being all that they can be. I am a foster mother so, children in my care will learn family practice in a very diverse home. Filled with many children from different backgrounds, religions and beliefs. They will have a positive outlook on life, themselves and others. In a personalize, child-centered, fun, Christian environment.
As your children’s provider, I work hard to develop a monthly plan for your child’s development, I will work to develop caring, respectful and responsive relationships with your children from infancy, until your children move forward to their next level. I will do so by partnering with each family to support their children's growth and development. Staff works collectively in supporting each child’s needs and together we all can work to achieve every child’s milestone.
I am infant, child and adult CPR, first aid and EMSA certified, with a certificate in "Dealing with Difficult Children". My favorite job of all times is the work I did as a super nanny working hard to develop plans, structure and love into children with difficult behaviors. I was known as “Sergeant Love” as I was strict in my teachings and helping children grow but, the love I poured into each child left a stain on their hearts. I have an abundance of references and letters of recommendations from many of the families I have worked with.
Your children will be nurtured, supported, and cherished like I’d want my own children to be when I am not around. I will teach each child as they need to be taught, infants will gain cognitive, motor, language and all there is to know to grow strong and healthy.
I will never deny a child based on their race, religion, sex or disability. It is important that families feel that their children are getting the utmost respect and care. Any questions, comments or concerns please direct them to Miss T so that you may be heard.
